UGI Boosts Education for Visually Impaired Students with K1.5 Million Donation

Joy at Hope for the Blind as it receives a 1.5 million Kwacha worth of a donation from the United General Insurance Company Limited (UGI).
The non-governmental organization supports students with visual impairment and orphans with school fees and upkeep.
Golden Jamu, Sales and Marketing Manager at UGI said the gesture is part of the objectives the institution has under corporate social responsibility, which focus on health, education, environmental, and governance initiatives.
Meanwhile, Mtisunge Chingowo from Hope for the Blind, which supports 250 students in secondary and tertiary schools, expressed gratitude for the support and hoped for a continued partnership.
