UGI Powers 2025 BSC Summer Golf Tour

Victor Khamalatha has won the 2025 Blantyre Sports Club Summer Tour Championship Tournament.

The 20-year-old beat 15 other golfers to pocket K1 million and a trophy.

Gabriel Kambale and Chris Kadzera came second and third respectively.

Khamalatha and Kambale needed playoffs to be separated after tying on 154 points.

Forlindo Rodricks emerged champion in the Pro -Arm Category ahead of Ganizani Lusho and Peter Lumbe, while the A Division went to Ignacio Kambale.

Spector Gondwe came out top in the B Division while Sera Piringu won the ladies category ahead of Ulemu Luhanga and Zitha Rodricks.

The three-day tournament was jointly sponsored by United General Insurance (UGI) and Pinnacle Financial Services.

UGI Chief Executive Officer Grant Mwenechanya and Douglas Kamwendo, Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle both hailed the tournament as a platform for them to appreciate and interact with current and prospective clients.
