MacDonald Chibwe possess a decade of progressive experience in a wide range of enterprise management roles at senior management and executive level gained in the Banking and Insurance Sector. He enjoys an edge in strategy formulation, Business Development, and Product Innovation. He provides executive leadership in Reinsurance, Underwriting, Claims, Business Development, and Legal Services. His passion always revolves around customer value creation.

MacDonald is a Chartered Insurer with the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Malawi, the Polytechnic (now known as Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences).

Information Communication Technology Manager

Louis Mtambo

He is an experienced Information and Communication Technology Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the banking and insurance industries. Skilled in databases, IT service management, IT strategy, data warehousing, and integration. Professional in information technology with a degree in Computer Information Systems from an African university in Zimbabwe. He also has a Master of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from St. Eugene University in Zambia.

He also holds ITIL Level 4 certification for enterprise risk management, AML, and information security and Oracle Associate certification. Previously, he held the position of Head of IT at FINCA Malawi, a microfinance deposit-taking institution. He is a member of ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) and a member of ICTAM.

Katija Mataya

An accomplished Human Resource Executive with proven expertise in recruitment process, legal compliance, managerial support, labour relations and negotiation skills.

Born on 30^th August 1984 Katija Clan Mataya is a holder of bachelor’s degree in human resource management from the University of Malawi (Chancellor College).  I also have Advance Diploma in Business Management (ABE) and advanced secretarial qualifications (City & Guilds)

I have obtained over 15 years work experience in both administration and human resource tasks. In 2017 I received CEO’s award in recognition of my outstanding performance on management of expenses.

Travelling, cooking and charitable work is what I like doing when free.

Ian Solomoni is a goal-oriented, motivated, and high achiever with over twenty years of experience in the Insurance Industry. He has extensive knowledge and experience in insurance underwriting, bancassurance, claims management, risk management, and reinsurance. He has successfully managed the implementation of different projects at UGI.  Ian joined UGI in 2002 and has served in several positions before rising to the position of Regional Manager.

Ian is a Chartered Insurer with the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and holds a Diploma in Insurance.

Wax Bruce Maluwa

Wax has a Master’s in Business Administration-Finance from Columbia Commonwealth University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Malawi, the Polytechnic (now known as Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences) and an Advanced Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
